Description

September-October Toronto Gerald Hannon's opinion piece "Outrage" was published in the September-October issue of The Body Politic. Hannon urged the gay community to lobby for the release of Karl John Roestad, a convicted homosexual pedophile who had been imprisoned in March 1971 for an indefinite term of detention as a dangerous sexual offender. The article generated much reaction (mostly negative) in both the gay community and the local mainstream press. (see also October 19, 22, and October-November 1974 -)
