Description
June 12 Ottawa Ron Dayman and Charles Hill of GO met with Ottawa Mayor Lorry Greenberg to press for an investigation of police activities in the arrests in the "Ottawa Sex Scandal" affair, and to recommend the adoption of a civil rights clause to protect gay municipal employees in Ottawa. Greenberg appeared to be largely unaware of discrimination against gays and asked GO to submit a brief outlining specific complaints to the Ottawa Police Commission. (see also August 19,1975.)
