Biography
Francie Wyland was an Ontario lesbian-feminist activist and key member of Wages Due Lesbians. She organized Wages Due Lesbian conferences, was part of a gay lobbying effort, and gave presentations about the wages for housework campaign. Wyland was the coordinator of the Lesbian Mother's Defense Fund, which provided information and funds to help women in custody cases, and is author of Motherhood, Lesbianism and Child Custody (1977).
