Description
February 8 Toronto The trial of Saul David Betesh, Werner Gruener, Robert Wayne Kribs, and Josef Woods, accused of murdering Emanuel Jaques, began before Ontario Supreme Court judge Anthony Maloney, and a jury. Members of the gay community followed the trial with apprehension, fearing that the sexual orientation of the defendants would be used to smear the entire community.
