November London, Ont. A petition signed by seventy-seven people asking that the UWOHA extend the hours of its dances was the catalyst for considering moving UWOHA off-campus into a building that could be used as a general lesbian-gay community centre. This was the first move towards the formation of the Homophile Association of London, Ontario (HALO). (See also March 1974.)
