January 13 Toronto Charles Hill of UTHA wrote to Otto Lang, federal Minister of Manpower and Immigration, to protest anti-gay clauses in the Immigration Act and request their removal. Lang replied on February 8, 1971, that the immigration legislation was under review and that he could not yet comment on exactly what changes would be made.
