Biography
Craig Russell (pseudonym of Russell Craig Eadie) was a famous Canadian drag performer and actor who debuted in Toronto in 1970 and performed to sold-out audiences. Russell starred in the 1977 film 'Outrageous!', playing a drag performer. He won awards for the performance. In May 1981 he performed in the musical "Hogtown" at Onstage '81: The Toronto Theatre Festival. Russell died of AIDS-related complications in 1990.
