Biography
Giuseppe Salvaggio was owner of the Montreal gay bar Truxx, which was raided by police on Oct. 22, 1977 by more than fifty police officers, some wearing bulletproof vests and armed with machine guns. Salvaggio was charged and found guilty of keeping a common bawdy house.
