Biography
Claude Jutra was a Québecois director and cinematographer, who directed the hugely influential Canadian film Mon oncle Antoine. His 1964 film À tout prendre was the first feature film in Québec to explore homosexuality. He won the Prix Victor-Morin and the Prix-Albert-Tessier in his lifetime, and was posthumously awarded, by the Government of Québec, the Medal of the Quiet Revolution.
