September 11 Toronto The Albert Johnson Benefit Concert was held. Human Rights Commissioner Bromley Armstrong was the only Black speaker to mention gays at the concert. He emphasized the need for the inclusion of sexual orientation in human rights legislation, and publicly offered his support to meet this goal.
