August 26–28 Coventry, England Representatives of eleven organizations from Europe, North America, and Australia met during the annual conference of the Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE) to form the International Gay Association (IGA). Canada was represented by Ron Dayman of CLGRC, who also gave the closing speech at the CHE conference.
