March 8 Toronto More than 400 women and children participated in International Women's Day activities centred at the 519 Church Street Community Centre, which included a "feast," a costume parade, and an evening concert at Convocation Hall featuring Rita MacNeil and Beverly Glenn-Copeland The festivities were monitored by undercover RCMP officers.
