May 13-August 16 Winnipeg An Opportunities for Youth grant of $5,000 was awarded to GFE's Project Understanding to compile and publish the twenty-four-page newsprint booklet Understanding Homosexuality. The booklet contained excerpts from academic research and religious publications and was aimed at people working in the professions and social services. The project had been initiated and led by Richard North, and was assisted by Gregory Bourgeois, Brent McKinstry, Donald Morden, and Susan White. (see also July 2,1974.)
