July 2 Steinbach, Man. Eleven members of GFE and A Woman's Place in Winnipeg picketed Derksen Printers, who on June 25 had refused to print Project Understanding's booklet Understanding Homosexuality because it presented homosexuality favourably. The marchers were met by Mennonite clergymen who preached about the evils of homosexuality.
