November 29-30 New York, N.Y. The second annual conference of the Gay Academic Union was held at the Loeb Student Center, New York University, and was attended by about ten Canadian scholars. The Canadians met to discuss gay studies in Canada and ways to help gay scholars come out, and decided to form a Canadian academic union that would be loosely affiliated with the American group. Dorothy Broderick (Dalhousie Univ.) and John Alan Lee (Univ. of Toronto) were to act as contact people. (see also September 1975.)
