June 7-9 Toronto Rev. Troy Perry, founder of MCC and moderator of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, was the special guest of MCC (Toronto). A discussion forum, dinner, and dance were held in celebration. On June 9, MCC (Toronto) received its charter and membership in the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches from Rev. Perry in a special service held at Holy Trinity Church. By June 1974, MCC (Toronto) was attracting about seventy men and women regularly to its Sunday services.
