Description
October 1-6 Winnipeg GFE sponsored Winnipeg's first Gay Pride Week, held at the University of Manitoba. Events included lectures, films, a coffee house, folk singing, and a dance. More than 100 people (mostly students) attended a symposium entitled "Homosexuality: A Contemporary View." Gay Pride Week was the first major project undertaken by GFE.
