Description

October 1-November 12 Vancouver The CGAA, in cooperation with Open Doors Research Program and the British Columbia Department of Health, sponsored a six-week seminar series on homosexuality, held on Sunday evenings at the Gordon House Community Centre. Lectures covering such topics as gays and venereal disease, gay public space, homophobia, transvestism, and gay liberation were delivered by CGAA members, including Dieter Grapp and Dick Rulens. This is believed to be one of the first times that Canadian gays presented their own seminars on homosexuality.
