May 30 Hamilton During the second North American Conference on Church and Family Life, Dr. Gibson Winter, a professor of social ethics at the University of Chicago divinity school, maintained that homosexuality is natural for certain persons and could be considered moral. The conference was sponsored by the U.S. National Council of the Churches of Christ and the Canadian Council of Churches. (see also June 1, 1966.)
