November 30 Ottawa Member of Parliament Arnold Peters (NDP - Temiskaming) alleged that a former (unnamed) warden of St. Vincent de Paul penitentiary kept two homosexuals in the administration building at the prison and was a disgrace to the penitentiary service. The Ministry of Justice launched an investigation into the allegation.
