January 24-26 Montréal Between 200 and 300 delegates from Canada and the United States attended the second annual national lesbian conference, organized by Montreal Gay Women (Labyris). Seminars were held on such topics as coming out, lesbian separatism, multiple relationships, self-defence, and directions for gay women in society. One of the highlights of the event was a dance, featuring the New Haven Women's Liberation Rock Band, which was attended by 500 women.
