Scott Wright
Biography
Scott Wright was a Manitoba Provincial Court judge. In July 1981 he ruled that the indecent assault provisions in section 156 of the Canadian Criminal Code contravened the Canadian Bill of Rights, as the section discriminated based on sex. This ruling was appealed by the Crown, and was rejected by the Manitoba Court of Appeal in November 1981.
