Biography
Gordon "Gord" Keith helped create Canada’s first gay political film, Truxx, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 1978. Truxx was an 18 minute documentary conveying the reaction of the gay community to the raid of the eponymous gay bar in Montreal. In 1979 he directed another short documentary aimed at high school viewers titled “Paul/David”. He also created Track Two with Harry Sutherland and Jack Lemmon, a video documentary which remains one of the most important documents of the February 1981 bathhouse raids.
