Doug Chin

Biography

Doug Chin was trained as a social worker at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute specializing in youth work and community organizations. He was founder and director of the Tri-Aid Charitable Foundation, which operated a group home for gay youth. The boarding home was refused registration by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, because the ministry "felt anxious about the potential impact on a child's sexuality at Tri-Aid House."
