Biography

David White was a Toronto alderman. He co-wrote a thirty-two-page report on the February 1981 bathhouse raids with Pat Sheppard which was submitted to the Toronto City Council. The report included many statements by gay men who were implicated in the raid, as well as photographs of damage caused in the raid, and ultimately called for a public inquiry. The recommendation was passed by the City Council but received no support from the Metro Council.
