Biography
Beland Honderich was a newspaper executive who acted as president and publisher of the Toronto Star, among other positions. He was credited with making the magazine more dynamic and profitable. On Nov. 8, 1974 protesters camped outside his Toronto home to protest an anti-gay editorial in the paper.
