Description

June 25 San Francisco, Calif. District Court Judge Robert Aguilar granted a temporary injunction, overturning a rule that had barred self-declared homosexuals from entering the United States. The INS had for years barred homosexuals from entering the country. The decision was made after the Lesbian-Gay Freedom Day Committee complained that the rule threatened their constitutional rights, and would affect many international visitors to the annual July 28 Gay Freedom Day.
