Description
March 23 Toronto RTPC held a press conference to demand a public inquiry into the role of undercover police officers at gay demonstrations. George Smith, chairperson of RTPC, introduced photographs, a film clip, and sworn affidavits by organizers and marchers concerning the infiltration and "dirty tricks" of undercover police officers at the February 20, 1981, community demonstration against the bath raids. The materials were later turned over to the police's Citizens' Complaints Bureau.
