October 25 Winnipeg Liberation Books, an independent, socialist bookstore, planned to distribute copies of The Joy of Gay Sex and The Joy of Lesbian Sex during a demonstration protesting the banning of the sale of the books imposed by Manitoba's Attorney General Gerry Mercier.
