September 15 and 19 Toronto Ontario Provincial Court Judge Thomas Mercer dismissed charges of making an obscene film against Andrew Homorodean (September 15) and Robert Ramsay (September 19); both had been charged during the police raid on the Hot Tub Club in October 1979. Robert Ramsay, aged twenty, had earlier been found guilty of keeping a common bawdy house in the Hot Tub affair. He faced additional charges, but committed suicide on October 1, 1980.
