December 27 Toronto Ontario Provincial Court Judge Sydney Harris ordered the Crown to return all materials belonging to PTP seized during the police raid on the offices of the Body Politic on December 30, 1977, and to pay costs. The Crown appealed the decision on January 17, 1980, and it was heard before Ontario County Court Judge J. Greenwood in February 1982. On March 15, 1982, Judge Greenwood overturned Judge Harris's decision, and allowed the Crown to keep the material that had been seized. The remaining boxes were not returned to PTP until April 15, 1985, more than seven years after they were taken.
