Description

October 29 Toronto Seven gay activists held a "mince-in" at the Ontario Legislature to draw attention to government inaction on human rights for lesbians and gays. The group was evicted from the visitors' gallery for holding hands, hugging, kissing, and blowing kisses at Premier Bill Davis. The event garnered much publicity, and on October 30 Attorney General Roy McMurtry agreed to meet in his office at a later date with a small group of gay representatives to discuss community concerns.
