Description
January Saskatoon The steering committee of the SGC released a forty-six-page brief, Lesbians and Gay Men: A Minority without Rights, which called for the inclusion of sexual orientation in the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code. The brief was delivered to all members of the Saskatchewan legislature. Renaissance Saskatchewan, a right-wing evangelical group associated with Rev. Ken Campbell, vehemently opposed this amendment to the code. (See also February 21, 1979.)
