An organizational meeting was held to form the Gay Community Centre of Lethbridge (GCCL), which would focus on social events such as dances, barbeques, and ski weekends, as well as informal meetings at the Red Coach Lounge in the Marquis Hotel, Fourth Avenue and Seventh Street South.
