January Toronto The Committee to Oppose Homosexual Rights Legislation, led by Joe MacDonald, came to local media attention during Anita Bryant's visit to Toronto in January. The group had been active in lobbying MPPs for several months, and may also have been connected to anti-gay submissions mailed to Ontario MPPs by the Movement to Restore Decency.
