Description

June 8–10 Ontario Anita Bryant cancelled what was to be her third Canadian tour, to promote her new book The Anita Bryant Story, due to a throat infection. Bryant was to have toured Ottawa, Owen Sound, and London. Plans for Bryant to visit Canada in 1979 later collapsed as well in the face of gay protests and resistance, described as "barbaric intimidation" by Rev. Ken Campbell.
