Spring Ottawa A British Columbia organization called B.C. Citizens for Integrity presented a petition to Parliament calling for amendments to the Criminal Code that would restrict the publication of pornography and also "prohibit the public advocacy and/or public assertion of homosexual behaviour." The petition, with 8,275 names mostly from the Vancouver and lower Fraser Valley area, was sponsored by Benno Friese (PC–Surrey-White Rock).
