Description

May 24 Toronto During a debate about abortion rights presented by the Coalition for Abortion Rights, Wages Due Lesbians (Toronto) sided with the Immigrant Women's Centre by endorsing their statement and deciding not to participate in the march organized by the Coalition on May 28th. In essence, Wages Due Lesbians agreed that "demanding abortion without also demanding the money needed to have children" was racist and anti-lesbian.
