Description

September Toronto The Globe and Mail rejected a quarter-page display ad submitted by Glad Day Bookshop, without explanation. The ad was to have appeared in the Saturday book review section of the Globe. Several Canadian book industry associations protested the Globe's decision. Glad Day started a petition against the action, and sent a letter of complaint to the OHRC.
