Description

October 9–11 Ottawa About 320 women from across Canada attended the National Lesbian Conference, organized by LOON and held at the University of Ottawa. Discussions and workshops were held on civil rights, child custody, and the women's movement. Social events included a dance, a coffee house, and a brunch. A proposal for the formation of a national lesbian organization was adopted, and a steering committee was formed to work towards establishing it.
