February 14-16 Winnipeg Stuart Russell and Chris Vogel of GFE were elected delegates to the annual provincial NDP conference, GFE was allowed to operate a literature and information table at the convention after first being refused and threatening to picket. Russell and Vogel were able to gather some support for a brief recommending changes to the Manitoba Human Rights Act regarding sexual orientation.
