Description
September Toronto Gladys Krehm published an opinion piece that referenced Susan Edith Saxe, a 26-year-old female who made it to the top ten of the FBI's most wanted list for her involvement in a bank robbery. After her arrest, Saxe made this statement to the press: "This is not an end but the beginning… I intend to keep fighting as a lesbian, as a feminist and as an Amazon”. In the opinion piece, Krehm commented that she doubted there was “a male revolutionary in similar circumstances who would have the nerve to tell the press: I'll go down fighting as a fag, a radical, a macho."
