Description
May 1 Ontario Cora, a women's bookmobile and resource centre, began its travels around rural and small-town Ontario. Funded by an Opportunities for Youth grant, Cora was named after E. Cora Hind, a pioneer suffragist, and was stocked with much material on feminism and lesbianism. Its aim was to help women in smaller centres overcome their isolation from the women's movement. The project was so popular that it was revived in the summer of 1975. (see also Summer 1975.)
