March 20 Toronto Jean LeDerff, author of Homolibre and Homosexuel? Et pourquoi pas!, was to have been the guest speaker at a meeting entitled "Toward a Sexual Revolution," sponsored by GATE (Toronto) and held at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). The event was cancelled after OISE'S Board of Governors reportedly withdrew the group's room booking because it did not want OISE to be associated with "undesirables." GATE (Toronto) protested the move, and OISE agreed to reschedule the event on April 17, 1974. (see also April 17,1974.)
