January 31 Toronto Rev. Bob Wolfe submitted a brief classified advertisement for the MCC to the Toronto Star. The ad read: "Gay Christians are invited to worship with Metropolitan Community Church, Sundays at 8 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Church, 364-9799." It was rejected by the Star as being "distasteful to our readership in general." (see also February 6,1974.)
