January 23 Saskatoon The Zodiac Friendship Society and Saskatoon Gay Action launched an educational program with a debate entitled "Gay Is Good for God and Man." Peter Millard and Beth Foster spoke for the motion. Rev. Michael Horban and Hetty Clews against. About 250 people attended the event, which was sponsored by the University of Saskatchewan Students' Debating Society.
