January 19-20 Montréal A two-day national conference for lesbians, sponsored by Montreal Gay Women, was held at the Women's Centre, 3764, boul. St. Laurent. More than 200 lesbian feminists attended, which to that time was the largest gathering of its kind ever held in Canada. The event included workshops, films, a book display, and planning for a future national conference.
