September London, Ont. HALO leased a two-storey building at 649 Colborne Street. This new centre became London's headquarters for lesbian and gay activities, including meetings, dances, social services, a coffee house, and a library. With more than 10,000 square feet of space, the HALO centre became the largest gay community centre in Canada.
