June 18 Ottawa Members of GO attended a town hall meeting sponsored by John Turner (Lib.-Ottawa Centre), who was campaigning for reelection July 8. When asked where he stood on the issue of including sexual orientation in the Canadian Bill of Rights, Turner replied that doing so would not alleviate discrimination against gays. He later spoke informally with the GO members.
