Description

May Vancouver The Gay Transient Referral and Information Centre (Gay TRIC) was established as a collective to help provide free temporary housing, emergency meals, job referrals, and referrals to community and social services to the constant influx of gay transients arriving in Vancouver. Gay TRIC's centre was located at 752 E. 17th Avenue and was coordinated by Dieter Grapp. The service collapsed in March 1974 and was succeeded by the Have a Gay Stay Transient Housing and Gay Information Service.
